1. Create your account. Your first 7 days include every Power User feature, whatever plan you pick.
2. Connect your email under Connections. Gmail, Outlook or Apple Mail. We use OAuth, so we never see your password.
3. Let it scan. SmartCal Pro reads new mail and picks out the dates in it — flights, appointments, deadlines, renewals.
4. Review what it found under Events. Approve what belongs on your calendar and deny what doesn't. Turn on Auto Add and it skips this step.
5. Set your reminders in Settings, and everything appears on your calendar on the web, your iPhone and your Android.

SmartSync — the heart of it. AI reads your connected inbox and finds dates you would otherwise have to copy across by hand.

Scan frequency — how often it looks. Once a day on the smaller plans, every 30 minutes at the top. More often means you hear about a change sooner.

Smart Sync (manual) — a scan you trigger yourself when you don't want to wait for the next one.

Auto Add — put detected events straight on your calendar without asking. Without it, they wait for you under Events.

Sends to your calendar — on Pro and above, events you approve in SmartCal Pro are written back to your Google, Outlook or Apple calendar. On Connect and Personal, events still come in from those calendars, but nothing is written back.

Calendar updates — how quickly something you add in Google, Outlook or Apple appears in SmartCal Pro. Pro and above check about every minute; other plans every 15 minutes. It is a check, not an alert from the calendar, so "about a minute" is the honest ceiling.

Reminders — alerts before an event starts. How many you can set per event depends on your plan.

Calendar sync — your events from Google, Outlook and Apple show up here on every plan. Sending them back the other way is Pro and above.

Book with Me — a link you share. People pick a time from your genuine availability and it lands on your calendar.

Team — share your plan with other people, who inherit your features.

How it works: create your account, pick a plan, and check out. Your free week starts then — 7 days of Power User, whichever plan you chose. After that you keep the plan you paid for.

• Personal — scans every 4 hours and event reminders.
• Pro — hourly scans, Auto Add, and events go back out to your own calendar.
• Power User — scans every 30 minutes, two inboxes, and your Book with Me page.
• Business — everything in Power User, shared with your team.

On Free, Connect and Personal, events come in from your other calendars but nothing is written back to them. Pro and above work both ways and check about every minute.

Annual billing is pay for 11 months, get 12. Prices exclude a 3.5% processing fee added at checkout.

Subscribed through the App Store? Those plans include 1 email account and 1 calendar, and are priced accordingly. The limits above apply to plans bought on the web.

How does email scanning work?

We use secure OAuth to read your emails (we never see your password). Our AI looks for dates, times, and event-related keywords to detect appointments, deadlines, and renewals.

Is my data secure?

Yes! We use industry-standard encryption and never store your email passwords. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

Can I connect multiple email accounts?

Most plans connect one inbox. Power User and Business connect two. Enterprise is unlimited. The table above is generated from the live plans, so it is always current.

What happens after my first week?

Your first 7 days include every Power User feature, whichever plan you chose — scanning every 30 minutes, unlimited Smart Syncs, Auto Add and Book with Me. When the week ends you drop to the plan you picked, and anything above it switches off. If you chose Power User, nothing changes.

Does it work with Outlook and Apple Mail, or only Gmail?

All three. Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail, connected by OAuth.

Will it put things on my calendar without asking?

Only if you turn on Auto Add. Otherwise everything it finds waits under Events until you approve it.

What is the extra charge at checkout?

A 3.5% processing fee is added to the plan price. It is shown before you pay and on the pricing page.

How do I cancel?

From Settings, then Billing & Plan. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. There are no refunds.

Do I need the app, or does the website work?

Either. The website, the iPhone app and the Android app all show the same calendar and stay in sync.
